It was Dylan, Lavender's brother. "Mom wants you to work a full shift today."
Lavender sighed. "I'll be down there soon." -
Maeve huffed, shuffling closer to Lavender.

Lavender held her close. Dylan watched the two for a moment before leaving.

Maeve rested her head on Lavender’s shoulder.

Lavender let her. "I have to go work soon. Do you want to grab breakfast down there while I work?"

‘Yeah, sure. Do you want me to scare away the mean customers again?’

"If you want. You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Lavender didn't want Maeve stuck at the bakery waiting for her all day, since she figured that'd be boring for her.

‘I’ve got nothing better to do,’ Maeve said with a grin, standing up and holding her hands out to her.

Lavender beamed, taking her hands and standing up.

Maeve pulled her up. She pecked her cheek.

Lavender blushed, grinning. She held Maeve close.

Maeve giggled, letting her. She gently tugged her towards the door.

Lavender followed her happily.

Maeve grinned. She walked downstairs.

Lavender followed her, still holding her hand.
