Lavender gave a small nod. "For not defending you when they were being a--holes."

‘But they were being a--holes to you, not me,’ Maeve frowned.

"When you yelled at them, I didn't help you. I just stood there, not wanting to cause a fight."

‘I was being a good girlfriend and defending you. You don’t need to apologise.’ Maeve pecked her cheek.

Lavender leaned into her touch, holding her close. "Okay." She mumbled.

Maeve played with her hair. ‘You okay?’
