"So that I could stay here longer!" Sebastian snapped, praying to all the gods that have ever existed in the world that Vincent didn't hear him. "It's only a matter of time before you kick me out, and I like it here!"

'Your entire goal is to steal an invention for Archibald and get paid! Why would you want to stay?!'

Sebastian figured this was a good time to get Albert to believe him. "Now do you believe me when I say I'm planning on giving him Vincent's bad ideas?"

Albert was silent for a moment. 'Archibald won't like it if you give him his bad ideas.'

"By the time he realizes they're bad ideas, I'll be long gone."

'And he'll send people after you to kill you. You think I don't know how he works?'

"He can't kill me if he can't find me." Sebastian said, wishing they were as confident as they felt.

Albert crossed his arms. 'That's what we thought too.'

"He hasn't killed you yet." Sebastian shrugged.

'He killed Vincent's parents.'

Sebastian went silent. "Why does he talk about them coming back, then?" He asked, shocked.

'He's in denial. He's convinced himself they just went on vacation.'

"Oh my god." Sebastian mumbled, horrified. He stared at Albert, hoping he was joking. He didn't think Albert was programmed to have a sense of humor, but maybe he was.
