‘Good idea~’ Caleb chuckled, grabbing his hand and walking to the door.

"No wait I didn't mean it!" Richard laughed, following him and trying not to overthink the fact that a very pretty guy just took his hand like it was nothing.

‘Aw, why not! You’d look great in a flower crown~’

"Ugh, fine." Richard rolled his eyes.

Caleb grinned and walked out into the garden. ‘Take your pick of flowers~’

Richard thought for a bit before taking a few daisies, some cosmos and a handful of lavender. "Is that enough?"

‘Yup. Now sit down or something.’

Richard sat down.

Caleb sat next to him on the grass and started linking the flower stems together. ‘My sister taught me how to do this.’

Richard looked up at him in confusion. "I thought you said you didn't have any siblings."

Caleb’s smile disappeared. ‘I mean, I don’t anymore.’

Richard went silent. "I'm so sorry." He murmured after a moment.

Caleb didn’t respond, threading the stems of the flowers together.

Richard looked down, picking at the grass.

Caleb sighed. ‘Sorry, I kind of killed the mood, didn’t I?’
