"And I love you too, Amethyst," Connor said with a chuckle, peering into the crate.

Amethyst meowed back, scratching at the walls. “We’re home, Amethyst-“ Evan’s dad said with a chuckle as they pulled into the driveway.

"Yay, now you can quit crying-" Connor joked with a chuckle, unbuckling.

Amethyst responded with a loud meow, getting cut off as Evan unbuckled and grabbed her crate, gently lifting her out. “C’mon, baby, you’re okay-“

Connor chuckled and climbed out of the car, humming softly.

Evan carried her inside, resting for a moment before heading upstairs, where they’d be acclimating her.

Connor grabbed the crate and followed Evan inside, going upstairs with him.

Evan walked in, shutting the door behind the two of them. He set the crate down, opening it and smiling as Amethyst crept out, sniffling the air. “Hi baby~”

Connor walked over to Evan's bed and sat down on it, humming softly as he laid on his side.

“Look at this pretty lady,” Evan said with a bright smile, petting the fluffy cat as she settled into his lap.

"Pretty girl with her handsome father," Connor said with a chuckle, admiring Evan. "Or, should I say daddy~?" He said, faking a playful moan as he spoke the name.

Evan flushed bright red, his eyes shooting up at Connor for a moment. He looked back down at the cat in his lap in embarrassment, because he probably found that hotter than he should’ve.

Connor laughed softly, his own face and body heating up as he rolled onto his stomach. "Hopefully she adjusts well to the change of scenery," he spoke, watching Evan with a lovesick grin,

“Well, I don’t think the scenery will affect her as much,” Evan said with a quiet chuckle. “I just hope we’re not too loud and smell bad or something-“

"Pfft- true," Connor said, chuckling softly.
