Casimir kissed his forehead. 'My love, I wish I didn't, but I should go now. Before my father comes barging into the kingdom shouting.'

Georgie exhaled shakily, nodding. “O-Okay,” he murmured softly, sitting up.

Casimir sat up, gently stroking their hair. 'I'll visit you as soon as possible, okay?'

Georgie nodded again, hugging him close. “I love you, Cas,” she whispered shakily, burying his face in the crook of Casimir’s neck.

'I love you too,' Casimir whispered, holding them tightly. 'More than anything.'

Georgie relaxed in Casimir’s arms, a small smile on his face.

Casimir kissed the top of their head, then let go. 'I'll see you as soon as possible, okay?'

Georgie nodded, rubbing their eyes that began to tear up. “I’ll walk you out,” they murmured, standing to their feet.

Casimir stood up as well, forcing a small smile.

Georgie gently took Casimir’s hand, leading him downstairs and to the front door.

Casimir followed them.

Georgie stopped at the front door, exhaling softly. He hugged Casimir close again, squeezing his eyes shut. “I love you…” He whispered quietly, his voice shaking.

Casimir hugged them back, holding them tightly. He slowly let go and bent down, kissing the back of their hand.

Georgie blushed and smiled a little, lifting Casimir’s head with their free hand and kissing his lips. “I love you so much.”

'I love you too, baby,' Casimir whispered, kissing them back. After a bit he pulled away.
