Georgie nodded a little, fear still in their eyes. They exhaled shakily, lifting their head and clinging closer to Mason.

When they turned a left and were out of sight, Casimir stopped walking and pressed a kiss to Georgie’s forehead. ‘I’ve got you. You’re safe.’

“I-I’m so, sorry, Cassie-“ Georgie spoke shakily, tears filling their eyes.

‘Why are you sorry?’ Casimir asked softly, raking his fingers through his hair. ‘You’ve got nothing to be sorry for, my love.’

“It- it’s my f-fault he’s upset, r-right?” Georgie whispered shakily, rubbing their teary eyes with their hands.

‘No! No, not at all!’ Casimir said, holding them close. ‘You did nothing wrong, I promise. My father’s views are messed up.’

Georgie exhaled shakily, curling closer to Casimir.

Casimir held them tightly, exhaling softly. He saw Rose, peering at them from the corner of his eye. Rose glared and left. ‘Come on, we need to get out of here.’

Georgie exhaled shakily and nodded, going to grab their things.

Casimir followed him, keeping an eye out for any of the Narva sisters.

Georgie picked up his things and exhaled shakily, looking back at Casimir. “I’m so sorry…”

‘You have no reason to be sorry,’ Casimir said softly, wrapping his arms around them.

Georgie exhaled shakily, hugging onto Casimir and burying their face in his chest.

Casimir raked his fingers through his hair. ‘I’ve got you, okay? You’re safe. But we need to get you out of here.’
