pfft, wait- this mf be like, oh, i wonder how i found myself in front of the prince’s bedroom door- maybe i’ll just ask him if he needs his plants taken care of!
idk lmaoo) -
(Goddamn it-
Idek, maybe georgie hears the music and is just like ‘ooo’ or smth) -
(xD my b my b, still tryna wake my ass up-
i gotchu, hold on u^u)
Georgie hummed softly, soon finding themselves in front of a large door. They paused, realizing their humming matched the tune coming from behind it. Wait, isn’t this the prince’s room room? They thought as they cracked open the door, peering inside. He looked over towards the bed, seeing the prince laying in his bed. He froze up, panicking. s---, it is his room! He panicked further, trying to back out of the room without being noticed, No, no, no, I can’t get in trouble- -
(Lol alrighty)
Casimir heard the door open. He stopped himself from groaning in frustration and pulled the covers off his head, gaze falling on the person at the door. He didn’t immediately recognise them, and just thought they were a servant. He sighed and sat up, putting on his glasses and raising an eyebrow at the person. ‘Did nobody teach you how to knock?’ he asked, unintentionally sounding rude. He didn’t like to be interrupted in his quiet time. -
I’m so f---ing dead- “I- I’m so sorry, I- I just heard the music and- I didn’t realize this was your room,” Georgie spoke nervously, awkwardly fumbling for the door. “I’ll- I’ll see myself out-“
-
Casimir rubbed his eyes and stood up, turning off the record player. ‘Are you one of the gardeners?’ he asked, looking back over at the person. ‘You’re getting dirt on my floor from your clothes.’
-
Georgie looked down, blushing profusely with embarrassment. “I- I’m so, so sorry, Prince Casimir- I’ll- I’ll get someone to- to clean it up right away-“ They managed to back themselves up out of the door, smiling awkwardly at the prince. f---, I’m so screwed! I can’t lose my dad’s job, we need the money! We- We won’t make it if we don’t get this money…
-
‘Don’t worry about it. I don’t need someone else barging in,’ Casimir said before the door shut. He turned the music back on full volume and grabbed a broom from a cupboard in his bathroom, sighing and brushing the dirt into a corner. He flopped onto his bed again, pulling the covers over his head.
-
Georgie backed up just as the door slammed shut, his heart racing. “I’m so dead, I’m so dead, I’m so dead-“ He muttered repeatedly, quickly rushing off. He exhaled shakily, quickly heading towards the royal gardens. Their sanctuary. Perks of being the kid of the head gardener, they have total access to the garden. They walked over to the large willow that stood in the middle and slumped down in front of it, trying to catch their breath and calm down. I’m so screwed- I just hope I don’t get fired- Although, to be fair, that was kind of rude of him to say it like that- No, you can’t think that! He’s the prince, he can do whatever he wants! He sighed, running a hand through their short, blonde hair.
-
Casimir knew it was rude. And he knew he should probably apologise. He didn’t want to, though; he wanted to lay there and rot in bed. He eventually got cramps in his legs and sat up, stretching. He rubbed his face with his hands and stood up, once again turning the music off. After fixing his hair and clothes and putting on his glasses, he grabbed his journal and walked out of his bedroom and down the halls. The plants were being better maintained for some reason. He walked out into the royal gardens.
-
Georgie had eventually calmed themselves down and went back to working, pruning and tending to the variety of plants and lowers in the garden. He found himself humming the tune of the music playing in the prince’s room, watering one of the nearby rose bushes with a small, relaxed smile on his face.
-
Casimir picked a small tulip flower that had barely grown big enough to bloom. He climbed one of the trees on the edge of the garden, one that he’d begged his mother not to let the gardeners chop down when he was a kid. He stuck the flower in his journal and wrote in the space around it.
-
Georgie continued to hum softly, moving from flower bush to flower bush as she tended to the plants. She glanced around when she heard some noises, seeing someone in a nearby tree. She narrowed her gaze and let out a quiet, audible gasp, seeing the prince. They quickly turned away, pretending they didn’t just see him and continuing with their work nervously.
-
Casimir glanced over, snapped out of his thoughts. He noticed the gardener and just sighed, ignoring them. He felt bad about their previous encounter, but told himself he didn’t care and continued writing.
-
Georgie continued their work, occasionally glancing over at the prince up in the tree. Maybe I should go apologize? Bit what if that just makes it worse- What do I do then?!
