Georgie exhaled softly, leaning into Casimir’s side and gently squeezing his hand. “No, it’s- it’s whatever,” he murmured softly, staring at the floor. “I can handle the wedding planning stuff, if you’re too busy, I get it-“

Casimir kissed their knuckles. 'No, I want to help. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you.'

“It’s fine, seriously-“ Georgie murmured, gently pulling their hand back. “It’s just a dumb wedding, your work- your work and royal duties should come first,” he added in a quiet voice, moving to stand. He abandoned the plate setting and walked over to the bed, laying down and curling up under the covers.

'Darling, it's not some dumb wedding-' Casimir said, frowning as he stood up as well. He sat down on the edge of the bed, leaning down so he could look at them. 'I-It's special, and I'm really excited.'

“Right,” Georgie spoke softly, turning his back towards Casimir. He covered his head with the covers, exhaling softly.

Casimir's heart sank. He pulled off his shoes and tie and slipped into bed behind Georgie, hugging onto them from behind. 'I shouldn't have yelled at you, love. I'm really sorry.'

“It’s okay,” Georgie whispered softly, curling into a ball. She exhaled shakily and covered their face with the blanket, yawning softly as he tried to fall asleep.

'It's not, honey. I'm really sorry. And I'm happy we're getting married,' Casimir said, kissing the back of their neck.

Georgie didn’t reply, soon falling asleep in Casimir’s arms.

Casimir still felt bad. He sighed and shuffled closer, rubbing Georgie's stomach with his thumb, and fell asleep behind them.

Georgie had woken up early the next morning and was already working with the castle servants, getting the ballroom organized and decorated.

Casimir woke up later. He looked around for Georgie, realizing they'd woken up without him. He checked the clock and got up, changing into a new pair of clothes. He went to look for Georgie, eventually getting to the ballroom and looking around.

Georgie yawned softly as he talked to one of the servants, directing her to set the vases of the flowers he had picked out onto the tables.
