Georgie stirred awake, groaning softly as they rubbed their eyes with their hand. They rolled onto their back and looked over, smiling when he saw Casimir laying beside him.

Casimir gave a small smile. He’d been lying awake for a while. ‘Hey, love.’

"Hey~" Georgie spoke softly, smiling as he leaned over and kissed Casimir's lips. "Did you sleep any?"

‘No,’ Casimir said, rubbing his eyes, then snuggling up close to Georgie.

“Well, you should try- I’m sure you’re exhausted,” Georgie spoke, giggling softly as she wrapped an arm around Casimir and rubbed his back with her hand.

Casimir snuggled closer, shaking his head. ‘I’ll be fine.’

“But- Gosh, I feel so bad,” Georgie murmured, kissing Casimir’s forehead. “If you’re tired, I want you to sleep- You don’t need to constantly worry about me, y’know.”

‘It’s okay, darling. I don’t want to sleep,’ Casimir said softly.

“I’m sure you need it, though,” Georgie spoke softly, sighing quietly. he turned his head and rested his forehead against Casimir’s, closing his eyes. “God, I feel so bad…”

Casimir rubbed their back, not saying anything. ‘Are you trying to guilt trip me into getting sleep?’ he asked in a teasing voice.

“N-No,” Georgie murmured, his face heating up. She giggled softly, kissing Casimir’s lips. “I really do want you to sleep, though. You need sleep, please don’t put my needs before yours, darling.”

‘I’m not tired,’ Casimir said, kissing their forehead. He was, in reality, very tired. But if Georgie had another nightmare or was in pain when he was asleep, he’d feel even worse.

Georgie whined softly, burying his face in Casimir’s shoulder. “You clearly are, hun- Please, I want you to get some sleep,” he spoke softly, hugging his fiancé closer.

Casimir shook his head, giving a tired smile as he rubbed Georgie’s back. ‘Not happening, my love.’

Georgie pouted softly, lifting his head and furrowing his brows. “If you’re worried about me being in pain, or having more dreams or whatever, I’ll be okay,” he spoke softly, kissing Casimir’s nose.
