Karl nodded, exhaling shakily. He walked into the kitchen and got himself a cup of water, taking a few sips.

Nick stood by him, gently rubbing his back.

Karl leaned into Nick’s touch for a moment before moving off to Nick’s room, bring the cup with him. He walked over to the bed and set down his cup, crossing his arms over his chest as he zoned out.

“Do you wanna watch a movie? Or just lay down?” Nick asked softly, moving over and gently rubbing Karl’s arm.

“A movie would be nice- I wanna change into something else, though,” Karl murmured, exhaling softly. “Could I borrow some of your clothes?

“Yeah!” Nick nodded, moving over to his dresser. He grabbed his favorite sweatpants and sweatshirt, walking over to Karl and handing them to him. “Lemme grab my laptop- think of a movie you wanna watch.”

Karl nodded and took the clothes, smiling a little. “Thanks, hun,” he spoke softly, going to the bathroom to change. He came back out after a few minutes, going to sit on the bed and curling up under the covers.

Nick came a few minutes later with his laptop in and sitting down next to Karl. “C’mere, have you thought of a movie?”

“How about Toy Story?” Karl asked softly, leaning into Nick’s side,

Nick smiled a little, finding it on the laptop and starting it. “Of course,” He whispered, wrapping an arm around Karl.

Karl smiled tiredly and curled closer to Nick, resting his head on his shoulder. He exhaled shakily, hugging onto his boyfriend.

“Do you need anything?” Nick asked softly, pressing a kiss onto the side of Karl’s head.

“Not right now, I think I’m okay,” Karl mumbled softly, shaking his head a little.

“Okay, well if you do, just let me know,” Nick said softly.

Karl nodded, curling closer to Nick. He hummed softly, watching the movie as he started.
