Nick gave the wheelchair back, moving back to Karl and tucking his arm under his shoulders to help him up. -
Karl clung to Nick, leaning into his side. “Well, that went pretty well, I think,” he said softly, giggling. “It was very fun, though~”

“Oh, I had a lot of fun,” Nick said with a smile, starting to walk towards the car.

Karl smiled, walking alongside Nick.

“Okay, I’m lowkey craving some ice cream,” Nick said, glancing at Karl. “What places do you suggest?”

“Ooh, there’s this one place downtown called Simple Treasures- It’s got amazing ice cream~” Karl said with a smile, leaning into Nick’s side.

“Alright, let’s go there, then,” Nick said with a smile, opening the car door for Karl.

Karl smiled and got into the car, buckling up once he got seated.

Nick walked around the car, hopping in and starting it. “Can you get the directions?”

“Mhm,” Karl hummed in response, pulling up the directions and holding them out for Nick to see.

“Thank you,” Nick said with a smile, pulling out of the parking spot and out of the lot.

“You’re welcome,” Karl said with a smile, glancing at Nick for a moment before looking away.

“What was you favorite thing we saw?” Nick asked as he drove.

“Mm, probably the penguins- No, wait, the jellyfish- Or maybe the sea turtles-“ Karl giggled softly, running a hand through his hair. “Honestly, it’s kinda hard to choose~”

“So real,” Nick said with a chuckle, offering a hand to Karl.
