Mason beamed, wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning into his touch. 'Thanks~!'

"You're welcome, hun," Chris spoke softly, hugging Mason close for a moment before letting go. "So, do you uh, wanna watch movies or somethin'?" He asked, running a hand through his hair.

Mason leaned into his touch, grinning. 'Sure, if you want. I'm gonna go change out of my uniform.

Chris nodded, crossing his arms over his chest. "Okay- also, you look good in your uniform~" He said with a chuckle, kissing Mason's cheek before setting his bag down and going to sit on the couch.

Mason blushed and chuckled, walking to his room. ‘Thanks~’

"You're welcome," Chris replied softly, sitting down on the couch. He exhaled shakily and grabbed the controller, turning the TV on and putting on a random movie he could zone out to.

Mason returned into the lounge room a few minutes later, wearing pajama pants and an old band shirt. He sat next to Chris. 'How was your day?'

"It uh, it was fine, yeah-" Chris spoke, flinching a little when Mason sat down. "Not as fun as getting promoted, but y'know-" He added, chuckling tiredly as he looked down at his hands.

Mason smiled, wrapping an arm around his torso. 'That's good. What movie did you put on?'

Chris glanced back at the TV, shrugging a little. "I don't really know, just- put somethin' random on," he replied, chuckling awkwardly.

‘Okay,’ Mason smiled, snuggling up to him, head resting on his chest.

Chris exhaled softly as he tiredly wrapped his arms around Mason, zoning out again as he stared at the TV.

Mason looked up at him. 'You okay?'

"Hm? Oh, yeah, I'm- I'm alright~" Chris replied with a tired smile, nodding. "Just- tired, from work and stuff, y'know?"

Mason frowned slightly, but didn't pry. 'Alright,' he said quietly.
