“Well, I’m sorry you can’t trust your boyfriend’s words, but he really mean any harm. We just wanted to hang out,” Chris said, resting his hand on Mason’s back. “Sure you just wanted to “hang out”.”
-
Mason rubbed his face with his hands, exhaling shakily. 'Jordan, can you please leave?'
-
(do we want jordan to break up with mason? or mason break up with jordan? do we wanna do it now?)
“If anyone should leave, it’s this f---er-“ Jordan spoke, pointing a finger at Chris. Chris stood his ground, staying by Mason’s side. “It’s his apartment, so I think you should leave.” -
(i think it should be mason breaking up with jordan when he does smth really bad. idk if it would fit rn unless jordan took his a--holery up a notch)
Mason looked down. 'B-Babe, please, can we talk about this later?' -
(do we wanna drag it out a little longer or do it now??)
“Why not now? I’m already f---ing here,” Jordan spat, glaring at Mason. -
(we can do it now if you want lol, idrm)
'I-I know- But I don't really want to talk about it in front of my friend.' -
(mm, maybe we should wait lol)
Jordan glared at the two and let go of Mason’s arm, rolling his eyes. “Fine, we’ll talk later,” he said, turning and walking off. He walked back to the front door and left the apartment, slamming the door shut. -
(sounds good lol)
Mason winced. He looked away, hands shaking. 'I-I'm sorry..' -
“No, hey- don’t be sorry, Mason,” Chris spoke softly, rubbing Mason’s back. “Is- is he always like this?”
-
'I- Most of the time,' Mason mumbled, trying not to cry.
-
Chris’ eyes widened and he quickly wrapped his arms around Mason, hugging him close. He didn’t know if this was a good idea or not, gut his friend was hurting and he couldn’t stand that.
-
Mason buried his face in Chris's shirt, hugging him back. He sniffled, sobbing quietly.
-
Chris rubbed Mason’s back, not sure of what to say. “I’m so sorry, Mason, you- God, you don’t deserve a guy who’ll treat you like this-“
-
Mason sniffled, trying to calm down. He pulled away slightly and rubbed his eyes. 'I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't cry like that-'
-
“No, it’s- it’s okay, Mason,” Chris said, resting his hands on Mason’s shoulders.
