“Then why’d you come over in the first f---ing place?” Jordan said with a glare, moving away from Mason. -
Mason put down his phone so he could respond to Jordan. 'I thought you wanted me to,' he said, frowning. 'You said I never had time for you, so I tried to make time.'

“Baby, I never f---ing said that-“ Jordan said, glaring at Mason.

Mason's frown deepened. 'But- you did! I-I told you I needed to go to work and you said that I never had time for you?'

“I think you heard me say something else, hun,” Jordan said, rolling his eyes, “but seriously- If you’re gonna “make time” for me, put a little more effort into…”

‘What the hell does that mean? I turned down a night shift so I could make time for you!’ Mason argued.

“And yet here you f---ing are, texting another guy instead of hanging out with me!” Jordan shouted, standing up and glaring at Mason.

‘Because you were being rude and standoffish!’ Mason exclaimed, standing as well. ‘D-Did something happen at work or something? You’re being so irritable.’

“I’m just- Tired, I’m sorry,” Jordan said with a sigh, rubbing his face with his hands.

Mason looked away, arms folding around his chest. ‘I can leave if you want.’
