(YEAH, that’s what i was gonna say u^u)
“What did you just say?” Jared spoke with a hint of nervous concern, sitting up quickly. “YOOOO, ROPES COURSE!” Michael cheered, jumping out of bed quickly. “When are we going?!” He shouted as Jared began panicking, crossing his arms over his chest in an attempt to look like he was calm. -
“Just before lunch,” Evan answered, giving Jared a concerned look. Liam glanced over at Jared, frowning a little. “Are you not excited?”

“No, yeah- Suuuper excited,” Jared said with a forced smile, staring at his lap as he tried not to have a full-blown panic attack. “Damn, we gotta wait that long- WAIT, can- can we invite Jeremy’s group to join us?” Michael asked, standing up after grabbing some clothes from his suitcase. “What, you need your boyfriend to comfort you from the heights?” Jared teased, a hint of fear slipping into his voice at the mention of heights. “You’re one to talk-“

“Uhh, I can try and get Jeremy’s group to come, I don’t know if that would work but I will try,” Evan said. “But get ready, you guys- I’ll be outside.”

“YEAH!” Michael cheered, quickly rushing to get ready. Jared groaned softly, flopping back on the bed.

Liam frowned, glancing over at Jared. “You okay, hun?”

“Honest opinion? Heights f---ing suck, babe,” Jared murmured, rolling onto his side. “I don’t even know why, I’m just- Terrified of them…”

Liam frowned a little bit, humming quietly. “And you don’t know why? I’m sorry- You don’t have to do the high ropes course if you don’t wanna- I’ll stay down with you.”

“No, no, I- I want you to have fun-“ Jared spoke, sitting up. “Don’t sit out just because of me, baby, I’ll be fine.”

Liam frowned a little bit. “But I don’t want you to be scared,” he said softly, gently grabbing his hand.

Jared smiled, gently squeezing Liam’s hand. “Hey, I’ll be okay, alright? I’ll- Y’know what, I’ll overcome my fear- Just, force myself onto the ropes course and if I s--- myself out of fear, so be it,” he said, laughing softly. He pressed a kiss on the back of his boyfriend’s hand, humming softly.

Liam frowned a little, shaking his head a little. “Jare- that’s not how it works-“

“Well, I’m still gonna go it anyways,” Jared said with a chuckle, standing up beside Liam. He wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing his nose. “And I’ll be fine, because guess what? You’ll be right there with me~”

Liam smiled shyly, wrapping his arms around Jared’s waist. “Okay, if you really wanna do it-“

“I do, hun~“ Jared said with a smile, nodding. “I mean, wouldn’t be the first time I’ve forced myself to do something I was nervous about-“ He froze, looking down. “Never mind, uhm, I’m- I’m gonna go get ready…” He let go of his boyfriend, pulling away and going to change.
