Arthur frowned, closing his eyes and rubbing Finn’s back. “Yeah, he was fine for a little while, but they got worse.” “What kind of cramps?” The nurse asked, writing something down. “Period cramps-“ Arthur answered simply.

Finn nodded, exhaling shakily as he leaned against Aurthur’s side. “Do you get really bad cramps like these, Finn?” Connor asked, watching the brunette. “Y-Yeah, sometimes,” he replied, rubbing his teary eyes with one hand.

“Okay, I’ll get you some pain medication, and I have a portable heating pad you can wrap around you and tuck into your shorts?” The nurse offered, moving to a counter. -

Finn nodded as he set the trash can down, exhaling shakily as he leaned against Aurthur. -

“Alright hun, I’ll get that for you in a second,” The nurse said, grabbing a few pills and a bottle of gatorade. “How much water have you been drinking?” -

“More than before,” Finn said quietly, taking the gatorade and medicine. He popped it into his mouth and took a swig the gatorade, swallowing the medicine. “The- the nausea doesn’t normally happen when they get this bad, but sometimes it’s just really bad…” -

The nurse nodded, grabbing a small purple device with a strap and pressing a button. “You can just wrap this around your stomach or wherever it hurts, okay?” -
Finn nodded as he took the heating pad, lifting his shirt up a little. He tugged his shorts waistband down a little, putting the pad on his lower stomach. He moved to lay down on the cot, exhaling softly as he pulled his shirt back down.

Arthur moved off the cot, lowering himself to the floor and offering Finn his hand. “I’m sorry you feel so bad.”

“It’s alright,” Finn said quietly, gently squeezing Aurthur’s hand. “Not like it’s your fault,” he added, giggling softly. He exhaled softly, turning onto his side to face his boyfriend. “I’ll be okay, I just need rest, I think.”

“Yeah,” Arthur nodded a little. “I’ll stay right here, okay?”

Finn nodded, rubbing the back of Aurthur’s hand within thumb. He sighed shakily, squeezing his eyes shut as another wave of cramps hit him.

Arthur sighed, squeezing Finn’s hand gently and leaning forward slightly so his chin rested on the cot.

Finn opened his eyes after a moment, admiring Aurthur with a small smile. “You’re so pretty,” he murmured with a quiet giggle, kissing his boyfriend’s forehead.

Arthur smiled softly, squeezing Finn’s hand. “Thank you. You’re so handsome~”
