“Noo, you are~” Connor said with a chuckle, gently squeezing Evan’s hand with a tired grin.

“Nooo~ it’s you, you doofus,” Evan said with a giggle. “Do you think I’d be a fun drunk?” He said suddenly, chuckling awkwardly.

“Oh, hell yeah, babe,” Connor said with a chuckle, nodding. “I’ve heard I’m a uh, a very flirty drunk, from some old friends of mine,” he added, an awkward and embarrassed look on his face.

“Oo, I wanna see that,” Evan said with a giggle. “What d’you think I would be?”

“Definitely very crazy, singing songs ‘n doin’ shots ‘n s---,” Co nor said with a tired chuckle, leaning back in his seat.

Evan paused for a moment, trying to imagine himself doing that. “Seriously?” He said with an uncertain laugh.

“One hundred percent, babe,” Connor joked, laughing. “Nah- Honestly, I dunno, I feel like you could handle your alcohol well.”

Evan paused again, nodding. “Can we get drunk at the end of the summer? when we go home?”

“Ooh, totally,” Connor replied with a chuckle, nodding. “I do think you’d be a fun drunk, though~”

Evan giggled quietly, taking a deep breath. “Y’know- I’ve never had a sip of alcohol. Like, ever-“

“Never, really?” Connor asked, chuckling softly. “I mean, not that underaged drinking is anything to brag about, but I’m a little surprised,” he added, running a hand through his hair.

“Well, you know my mom was super strict,” Evan said with a shrug, staring off to the road in front of him. “And I was too focused on school, anyways.”

“Yeah, I figured,” Connor said with a chuckle, nodding. “We should definitely go to a bar one night, just get some drinks, do a little karaoke, make out some~”

“Babe, we’re only nineteen,” Evan said with a giggle. “And unless you wanna come up with some fake ID’s-“
