Briar giggled, heading down the path and towards town. “I mean, if you’re gonna kill off all the plants, I’ll definitely have to keep you away from them~” He teased, smiling at his boyfriend.
(it’s 6 am and i’ve gotten 2 hours of sleep, and the suns coming out and i need to get more sleep so gn xD) -
(Yeah man go to sleep- Gn!)
Lawrence rolled his eyes, chuckling. ‘I didn’t want to come near them in the first place, trust me.’ -
Briar giggled, looking over at Lawrence. “I could teach you how to garden, it really is pretty easy once you get started~” He said, smiling at his boyfriend for a moment before looking forward.

‘I can try,’ Lawrence said, shrugging.

Briar smiled happily, stealing another glance at Lawrence. He hummed as he looked forward again, the two of them soon arriving into town. “Ah, how I’ve missed this place,” he said with a smile, slowing Glory to a stop and hopping off her.

Lawrence chuckled, following heed. ‘You have?’

“Yeah~” Briar said with a smile, leading Glory with him through the town square. “As much as I hated being in charge of the town and kingdom, I love this place. I’ve made many close friends with shopkeepers and residents~”

Lawrence smiled, looking around. ‘Cool,’ he said. He was glad Briar could make that connection with his citizens.

Briar admired Lawrence for a moment with a smile, looking back and saying his hellos to the citizens of the town passing by. He stopped by one of the stalls, talking to the young lady running it with her mother for a moment. “Briar! God, it’s been ages, how are you~?” The girl said with a sweet smile, hugging the ravenette. “Great, not that I’ve stepped down-“ Briar said, giggling softly as he hugged the girl. “Amy, I want you to meet my boyfriend, Lawrence~” He smiled, gesturing to the long haired man moving to his side. He was overjoyed to get to call him that in front of others, especially since him and his wife finally got divorced.

Lawrence gave a small smile and waved to the girl sheepishly. ‘Hi,’ he said.

“Hi, nice to meet you!” Amy said with a warm smile, waving at Lawrence. “I was starting to wonder when you two would get together~ Honestly, I thought you were making him up-“ She said, smirking. Briar blushed, an embarrassed chuckle escaping his lips. “Uh, I- I don’t know what you’re talking about-“

Lawrence chuckled and looked down at Briar. ‘Er, how many people have you told about me?’ he asked with a slightly nervous smile.

“Not- Not many!” Briar said quickly, his face turning a brighter shade of red. “I just missed you and needed someone to vent to, that’s all-“ Amy giggled, moving behind the stall. “Yeah, he definitely did~“ She teased, making him let out an embarrassed squeal. “So, how can I help you today?” “Just- Just my usual order, thank you-“

Lawrence smirked, ruffling Briar’s hair. He leaned his head on top of his boyfriend’s and put an arm around him, not feeling like contributing to the conversation.

Amy giggled and nodded, going off to prepare Briar’s order. Briar exhaled softly, leaning against Lawrence, hugging onto him.
