“Ugh, fine,” George groaned playfully, handing Clay the piece he had already taken a bite out of before grabbing another piece for himself.

“Uh, I don’t want your half eaten piece of bread,” Clay said with a laugh, dropping the bread on George’s chest. He reached into the bag and grabbed a normal piece, taking a bite of it.

“Oh, f--- off,” George said with a scoff, taking a bite of the bread and readjusting the blanket over his eyes.

Clay watched him for a moment with a small smile, taking another bite of his bread.

“God, I’m so glad that is the weekend,” George muttered. “Cause I would’ve ditched so quickly.”

“Amen, brother,” Clay said with a chuckle, nodding. “Still got a really bad headache.”

“I know, it’s f---ing awful,” George said quietly, taking another bite of his bread. “And this god-forsaken heat is not helping.”

“True,” Clay replied with a chuckle, nodding. “It also doesn’t help the fact you have a blanket on in this heat,” he joked, nudging his side with his arms.

“b----, it’s only covering my eyes,” George said with a chuckle. “I don’t understand how you’re just laying there staring at it.”

“I’m not staring at the sun, I’m not an idiot,” Clay said with a chuckle, watching George. “You want sunglasses or something? Might be better than having the blanket on your face.”

“No, this is fine,” George said with a chuckle. “And you are an idiot, idiot.”

“Suuure,” Clay said with a chuckle, subconsciously resting his head against George’s shoulder. He hummed softly, closing his eyes for a moment.

George chuckled quietly, getting cut off by a yawn. “Holy s---, my head hurts. Do you know who the girl was last night?”

“No, but she’s friends with Jolie, I think,” Clay replied, exhaling softly. “Just thinking about them makes me sick,” he muttered, bringing a hand up to his face and rubbing his eye.

“Dude, I was so sick last night, you wouldn’t believe it,” George said, getting distracted.
