Evan smiled weakly, holding Connor close. “I love you.” He whispered quietly, staring off into the distance. -
(yeah :D)
“I love you too, baby,” Connor murmured, pressing more kisses against his neck. He lifted his head after a moment, watching Evan. “I hate those guys so f---ing much,” he muttered, hugging his boyfriend close. “Don’t know why I’ve stayed on the team, honestly. All of them are f---ing homophobic, even Coach.” -
Evan scoffed quietly. “You’re telling me.” He said sarcastically, reaching a hand up to rub his eyes.

“Maybe I should quit the team,” Connor spoke quietly, leaning back a little. “As- as much as I love baseball, I don’t- No, I- I won’t stand to be on a team with those a--holes.”

Evan frowned deeply. “No, hun, don't do that. You’d miss it too much- you’re good at it, Connor. Don’t let those a--holes give up something you genuinely like.”

“I’m really not all that good,” Connor replied with a half-hearted chuckle, a tired smile on his face. “I always feel like I get so nervous and f--- up whenever I go up to bat…”

Evan paused for a moment, watching Connor. “I know I can’t really say anything, cause I don’t play the sport, but like- haven’t you scored most of the points this season?”

“Yeah, I guess, but- I don’t know, I mean, I know I’m not a terrible player,” Connor spoke, sighing, “but I- I just get in my own head, I guess.” He leaned forward and rested his head on Evan’s chest, hugging onto him.

“I get it, Con,” Evan said softly, moving a hand to stroke the back of Connor’s head. “But please, please, don’t quit because there are people you don’t like.”

Connor nodded, curling closer to Evan. “You sure this isn’t because you’ll miss seeing me in my uniform if I leave?” He teased with a chuckle as he lifted his head, smirking at his boyfriend.

Evan flushed red, giggling quietly. “Oh my God, shut up!” he said, rolling his eyes and gently hitting Connor’s shoulder.

“I didn’t hear a no~“ Connor teased, pulling Evan close and kissing his cheek. “It’s okay, I know, I’m just so sexy in my baseball uniform~”

Evan laughed, wrapping his arms around Connor’s shoulders. “Oh my God, you’re such a dick.”

“Mm, but I’m your d---~” Connor said with a chuckle, kissing Evan’s cheek again.

“And you’re pretty good at it~” Evan said, giggling. “Wait- hold on, you’re my d---?? That doesn’t make any sense-“ he burst into laughter.
