“Connor, Connor, breathe, stop and breathe, stop thinking,” Evan said softly. “Look at me, and breathe.”

Connor tried taking deep breaths, but they were just shaky and shallow. He squeezed his eyes shut, leaning forward in his sitting position.

“It’s okay, okay,” Evan said softly running a hand through his hair. He crouched down to try and get him to look at him.

Connor sat up, opening his teary eyes. “f---, I- I can’t lose you- What i-if you get seriously hurt? What- What if-“ He exhaled shakily, trying to calm himself down.

“I won’t, I won’t,” Evan said softly. “Because I’ve got you to protect me, okay?”

Connor exhaled and nodded, rubbing his face with his hands. “Okay, I- God, I’m just scared…”

“Yeah, I know, I am too, but it’ll be okay,” Evan said softly, standing again. “Take a second, okay? I gotta go set up.”

Connor nodded, leaning forward and resting his arms on his knees. “Please just- try and avoid them as much as you can, okay? Who f---ing knows if they’ll decide to jump you today…”

i gotta go in like, twenty minutes and i won’t be back until friday :’))
“Yeah, I promise,” Evan said, exhaling quietly. He grabbed the buckey of baseballs and cones before heading out to the field. -

Connor watched Evan leave before sighing, running a hand through his hair. Why does this have to happen to us?? -

i had to get up at 5 this morning )

Evan opened Connor’s door, quickly shutting it behind him and leaning against it. He made eye contact with his boyfriend from against the room, groaning quietly. “I get why you were so anxious when someone might be “surprising” you.” -
(i’m kind of excited for mine, only anxious abt the situation with that one girl- T^T
also, i’m guessing they’re at connor’s house? do we wanna do it there or smth?)
“Yeah, the suspense is lethal,” Connor replied, exhaling. “I’m trying to keep it together, but- f---, it’s so hard…” -
(ohhh yeah that’s a lil stressful
yeah they’re at connor’s house, but i think we should drag it out like they planned for after school the next day? because the guys doin it are stupid and don’t think anybody knows hehe)
“I know, I’m sorry, honey,” Evan said softly, slipping off his shoes and walking over to Connor. He sat down next to him on the couch, crossing his legs and looking over to him.
