imsoclueless SeniorKarl hummed as he let go of Nick's hand to unbuckle, getting out of the car after a moment. He shut the door, walking over to Nick's side and waiting for him to climb out.

Nick locked the car as he hopped out, offering his hand to Karl. “Gotta keep the car safe, y’know, it’s pretty sketchy here.”

Nick chuckled, squeezing Karl’s hand as they walked up. He opened the door for his boyfriend once they got there and he walked in after him.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl hummed as he walked in, saying hello to the workers as he made his way over to a booth. He slid into one of the seats, crossing his legs in the chair. "Morning, boys! My name is Steph and I'll be your waitress for today~" A short blonde girl spoke, setting down two menus in front of the boys. "Hey Steph, how're you doing?" Karl asked with a smile. "Tired," she spoke with a deadpan expression before chuckling. "Doing good, though. Can I start y'all off with some drinks?" "I'd love a sweet tea," Karl said, watching her for a moment before looking over at Nick.

“Uh, I’ll have an orange juice,” Nick said, smiling at Steph and leaning back in his seat.

imsoclueless Senior"You got it~ I'll be back with your drinks in a minute," Steph replied with a smile before walking off to get their drinks. Karl hummed as he leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. "See, I told you this place isn't sketchy," he said, chuckling softly.

Nick furrowed his brows, chuckling quietly. “Most of the waiters at IHop are also super nice, that doesn’t mean they’re not sketchy.”

imsoclueless Senior"Shut up, I know Steph well- She's a good person, don't worry~" Karl replied with a smile, reaching over to grab Nick's hand. "Seriously though, I come here all the time, this place is perfectly safe, hun."

Nick squeezed Karl’s hand, chuckling quietly. “I know, I’m not that worried about it, I’m just saying.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl nodded, smiling. "Okay, just making sure~" He spoke with a quiet giggle, rubbing Nick's hand with his thumb. Steph came back a few moments with two drinks, setting them on the table. "Here's your drinks~" She spoke as she set down two straws, pulling out her notepad. "Are y'all ready to order??" She asked, pulling out a pen.

“Uh, yes,” Nick said softly, glancing down at his menu again even though he knew what he was getting before back up at Steph. “I’ll have the pancakes, bacon, and eggs.”

imsoclueless SeniorSteph nodded and wrote down the order, turning to Karl, who was inspecting the menu. "I'll have a waffle with a side of hash browns- And some breakfast sausage, please," the brunette said with a smile, setting it down. Steph nodded and jotted it down on the notepad, smiling and grabbing the menus. "Your orders will be ready in a bit," she said with a smile, walking off.

“Thank you,” Nick said softly, smiling at her as she walked away before looking back at Karl. “You really life waffles, huh?”
