"The bird's alright, just has a slightly fractured wing," Elodie replied, crossing her arms over her chest. "The kids will be fine, they seemed to be okay once they knew the bird would get better." "Well, that's good," Karl said with a smile, glancing over at Nick. -
“That is,” Nick said with a chuckle. “Is there anything to do? I’m seriously so bored.” He said with a grin, standing up straight again and putting his hands on Karl’s shoulders.

"Not much," Elodie replied, shrugging with a chuckle. "Like we've said, it's usually pretty slow around here." Karl hummed as he leaned back against Nick, gently hugging his boyfriend's hands to rest on his chest. He squeezed them gently, sighing happily.

Nick glanced down at Karl for a second with a smile. “But that’s so boring-“ Nick groaned. “Are you sure there’s- like, nothing fun to do?”

"Eh, kinda," Elodie replied with a small chuckle, looking over at Nick. "Unless you two wanna make out in the storage closet, spice things up~" Karl flushed bright red and let go of Nick's hands, covering his face and groaning. Elodie laughed, patting Karl on the leg. "I'm just kidding! Or am I?~" She teased, earning an annoyed whine from the brunette.

Nick flushed red, chuckling at Karl’s reaction. “Ohh, cmon Karl. Am I that bad?”

"No! That's not what- I mean, I just-" Karl stuttered, leaning back against the chair. "I don't wanna make out with you in a storage closet, that's weird!" "I think it's kinda kinky-" Elodie began to tease, earning a smack on the arm from Karl. "STOP, we're literally at work and there are people around!"

Nick giggled. “On my first day I came in here and you two were talking about Elodie getting laid-“ He said, playfully ruffling Karl’s hair. “But NOW you have shame??”

Karl whined, turning around and burying his face in Nick's chest. "And look at you now, tryna cuddle with your mans on the job~" Elodie teased, laughing. Karl groaned and let go of his boyfriend, standing. "I'm gonna go check on the dogs," he stated in a loud, flustered voice, walking out from behind the front desk area and over to the kennel area.

Nick giggled, chasing after Karl. “I’m coming with you!”

"Don't get into any trouble back there~" Elodie teased, giggling. Karl walked into the room a bit and stood still, groaning and rubbing his face with his hands.

“Karl, what’s wrong,” Nick said, wrapping his arms around Karl’s waist, trying to suppress his giggles.
