imsoclueless SeniorKarl continued to try and kick himself free, screaming through his sobs. Connor followed close behind, making sure Karl didn't run off if he broke free. "Karl, relax, okay? Take- Take some deep breaths, alright?" He spoke, grabbing the brunette's hand. Karl swatted Connor's hand and jerked his own back, still trying to pull away from Nick. "Let me f---ing go!" He shouted, his voice strained and hoarse.

Nick looked at Conner, gesturing to the locker room door. “Open it, please,” He said, waiting for him to open the door before pulling Karl inside and sitting him down on the bench. He placed his hands on Karl’s shoulders, making him look at him. “Breathe, Karl calm your ass down. What did he say to you?” He said, both to Karl and Connor.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl kept his head down, unresponsive as he cried. "Ryder, he- He was interrogating him about you two, and he called him the f slur and other s---, and- and he snapped," Connor spoke, his voice shaky. "I've never seen him so angry."

“f---, that was not what he needed today,” Nick mumbled, running a hand through Karl’s hair before sitting next to him. “Karl, hon, talk to me, please. Look at me, look at me, c’mon-“

imsoclueless SeniorKarl let out a choked sob, turning towards Nick and leaning against him. "I'm so sorry," he whispered through his tears, hugging onto his boyfriend. "I'm- I'm such a f---ing idiot..." "No, you're not the idiot," Connor spoke, resting a hand on Karl's back. "If anyone's the idiot, it's Ryder. f---ing a--hole, I don't even know why I wanted to be friend's with him..."

“No, hon, it’s okay, don’t be sorry,” Nick said, wrapping his arms around Karl. “Breathe, Karl, take a deep breath.”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl took a few shaky deep breaths, trying to calm down. He clung to Nick, burying his face in his shoulder. The locker room door opened and the principal and guidance counselor walked in, seeing the three boys on one of the benches. "Karl Jacobs, come with me to my office," the guidance counselor spoke in a gentle voice.

“Can-“ Nick asked, glancing at Karl and back at the guidance counselor. “Can I come with him?”

imsoclueless SeniorThe guidance counselor nodded, a worried look on her face. "Yes, that's fine," she replied with a small smile, watching them for a moment.

“Okay, thank you,” Nick said softly, gently helping Karl to his feet. “Uh, thanks Conner. For helping.”

imsoclueless Senior"No problem," Connor replied with a nod, standing. Karl leaned against Nick, his arms still around him. He sniffled softly with a blank expression on his face as he followed the guidance counselor, heading to her office.

Nick gently rubbed Karl’s arm, trying to ignore the odd looks from everyone.

imsoclueless Senior(it'll be smth like, they get to the office, karl's parents are there and his mom gets mad for having to deal with this, then the two of them get into a fight and karl shouts smth abt offing himself and storms out- then we change to the first timeline?? that sound good?)
Karl sighed shakily as he leaned against Nick, wrapping his arm around his waist as they walked. They soon arrived at the office and the guidance counselor opened the door, revealing Karl's mother pacing the room and his father sat in a chair against the wall. "Finally, we can get this over with," she muttered, shaking her head. -
(yeah, that’s good!)
Nick frowned, pressing his lips together in annoyance. He walked over Karl to one of the couches in the room, sitting down with him.

"Care to explain why the hell you're getting into fights?" Carly spoke, glaring at her son. "Carly, hun, relax-" "Don't you tell me to relax," she retorted, pointing a finger at her husband. Karl sat on the couch, unresponsive, leaning against Nick's side.
