Karl giggled and pressed a kiss on Nick's cheek, laying down on him and hugging his torso. He laid there in silence for a moment with his head on his boyfriend's bare chest, listening to his heartbeat. "Nick?"

i had a bit of a costume malfunction, and so did our ariel, but it's all good- xD)
"I-" Karl paused for a moment, thinking about what he wanted to say and how to articulate it. "I know this may sound a little crazy and overzealous- Big word, I know-" He giggled at himself, quickly stopping to calm down and continue, "but I- I kind of want to- to come out. At school."

"I love you, Nick, and I hate having to pretend I don't." -

Nick frowned, pressing his lips into a thin line as he thought about it for a moment. “Karl, I really want that too. I do, I swear. I’m just-“ He paused, taking a breath. “I’m really f---ing scared that because if we do come out, we won’t be able to do those things anyways because people will literally throw like, slurs at us and stuff. I’d probably never play again.” He voice cracked slightly as he lowered to a whisper, sitting up and looking at Karl again. -

Karl's expression softened and he smiled, bringing his hands up to cup Nick's cheeks. "I now, honey- And I would never, ever force you to do it if you weren't comfortable with it," he said, rubbing his cheek with his thumb. "We don't have to, I totally understand why you're scared. Hell, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared." He lowered his hands, thinking for a moment. "What if we did it like, on the last day of school or something? I mean, we'll be leaving, so why would it matter?? I'm not saying you have to! If you really don't feel comfy with that, I completely understand, hun, but- God, I want to be able to kiss you when you walk off the stage in your cap and gown, lookin' all handsome~" -

Karl chuckled and grabbed Nick's hand, gently squeezing it. "And then we go live happily ever after with a bunch of pets~" He said, giggling as he leaned over and pressed a kiss on Nick's cheek. "Just- please don't feel like I'm trying to pressure you into doing it. I promise I'm not, and- and we don't have to if you end up deciding you're not ready."
