i’m doing pretty good, kinda bored and i have exams to do but that’s okay :’))
“Amen to that,” Nick said with a chuckle, reaching over to turn the lamp on his side table off. It had gotten pretty dark otherwise, clouds forming and a light sprinkle of rain starting outside. -

Karl hummed softly as he curled up beside Nick, moving one of his legs to lay in between his boyfriend's. He rested his head on the ravenette's chest, continuing to hum as he listened to his heartbeat. -
(me too! the ones i have left usually aren’t that hard anyways, so i think i’ll be fine :’))
Nick hummed happily, gently rubbing Karl’s back and letting his head rest on the pillow behind him. He yawned one last time before letting his eyes drift shut.

and sure! i can start, but should we have them find out, or should we have nick introduce Karl and then have him explain karl’s situation and see if he could stay?)
Nick awoke with a start as he heard a knock on his door, quickly waking Karl up and grabbing his shirt. “Hey, one second!” He said, quickly climbing out of bed. -

Karl quickly sat up and moved off the bed beside Nick, panic rising in him. "Should I hide?!" He whisper-shouted, going to grab his sweatshirt. -
(yeah okay true let’s do that lol)
“No, no, just,” Nick put his shirt back on, throwing the covers back on his bed and grabbing a school book and throwing it in his bed. He went to the door, opening it and greeting his mother. “Oh, hi Mom. How was work?”
“It was good,” She replied, giving a tired smile and seeing Karl past her son. “Who- who is that?”
“Oh, yeah, mom this is Karl,” He said, inviting Karl next to him. “He’s a friend from school.” -
imsoclueless SeniorKarl waved awkwardly as he walked over to Nick, standing nearby. "Hello, Mrs. Armstrong," he said with a small smile.

“Hello, Karl, it’s nice to meet you,” She said, studying Karl for a moment before looking back at Nick. “Are you two studying, or just hanging out?”
“A little bit of both,” Nick said with a shrug. “Um, is it okay if Karl spends the night?”
“Oh, yeah, whatever,” Nicks mother said lightheartedly, shrugging. “I think there’s leftovers in the fridge, if you both want something to eat, okay? I’ll be in my room.”
“Okay, love you mom,” Nick said with a small wave, closing the door once she walked away. -
imsoclueless SeniorKarl let out a breath, leaning against Nick's side for a moment. "That went, surprisingly easy, in my opinion," he said with a light chuckle, standing up straight and stretching. "I don't really know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't that."

Nick giggled quietly, wrapping an arm around Karl’s “Yeah, she’s really chill. She’s also exhausted, so I doubt she’d even care no matter what I tell her.”

Nick giggled, nodding. “That makes sense. Yeah, my Dads like that sometimes, but my mom could really care less about… anything, y’know?” He said with a laugh, wrapping his other arm around the brunette.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl nodded, wrapping both arms around Nick and resting his head on his chest. "She seems very nice," he spoke in a small voice, staring at the door. "And I'm- I'm glad I get to stay over, and that- that she said yes." He exhaled as he turned his head, burying it in Nick's chest. Is it bad that I wish I had parents like that..?

“You okay?” Nick said softly, holding Karl close and swaying slightly. He pressed kiss onto Karl’s head, gently rubbing his back.
