Mahina whacked him with the back of her hand, but not hard. ‘No!’

“Oi!” Ernest was being very dramatic about it. “Rude! Use your words, not your hand!”

‘I just did, Froggerbell.’

“First off, ew, second off, no, you used ONE word. I’m talking about WORDS.”

‘Well, I just did that too, Tinkerfrog.’

“Whatever, Peter Purple.”
Orion and Selene were eavesdropping. It was literally impossible not to. -
Mahina rolled her eyes, then glanced at Selene and Orion.

Orion gave a small wave. “Good evening.” He chuckled.

Mahina flushed in embarrassment. ‘Hi.’

“Do you want to camp here for the night, or would you rather try and get to Selene’s house?”

Mahina blinked. ‘Are we locked out or something?’

“No, it’s just far away from here, and I’m worried I’m too tired to teleport us all to the house.”

Mahina looked at Selene. ‘What about you?’
