Ernie ruffled her hair. “Hey, Peter Pan.”

Mahina chuckled. ‘Hey, Tinkerfrog.’

“Tinkerfrog is a terrible nickname.”

‘I know, but I like it.’

“But I don’t!”

‘Too bad!’

Ernest sighed. “So mean.” He mumbled, chuckling.

‘Hey!’ Mahina complained.

“What?” Ernest asked innocently.

‘I am not mean.’

“No. You’re not.” Ernest agreed. “Just a tad rude, but other than that…”

Mahina huffed. ‘Ok, I can live with that.’

Ernest chuckled. He scooted towards her slightly.
