Ernie chuckled, before hearing a twig snap a couple feet away from him. “Everybody else heard that, right?” He said quietly. “Or am I imagining things?”

Selene raised her wand in the direction of the sound. ‘Yes.’
Mahina looked around. ‘I wasn’t paying attention.’ -
Ernest chuckled. “Of course you weren’t.” He walked towards the sound slightly.

Mahina huffed and followed their gaze to where the sound had come from.

Ernie’s eyebrows knit together, walking closer to the source of the noise. “Hello?”

‘Who are you talking to?’ Mahina grumbled, thrusting out her staff, and in the process hitting something invisible.

“No idea.” Ernest admit, turning around to smile at her before noticing. “What the-“

Someone grunted and moved out of the way. Mahina stumbled, nearly falling over. ‘Hey!’

“Who’s there?” Ernest asked, walking back towards Mahina’s staff.

No response.

Ernie held his hand out to hopefully grab whoever it was.

Mahina whacked the air with the staff again.

She managed to hit something.

Mahina’s eyes widened.

Whoever she hit just grunted.
“Who are you?!” Ernie stared at the staff.
