Mahina smiled weakly.

"You alright?" Selene asked softly.

Mahina nodded. ‘Yep. Totally fine over here.’

"Alright..." Selene shrugged.

Mahina looked down and walked into the bedroom.

Selene watched her go, growing concerned.

Mahina sat down on her bed, thoughts drifting back to her parents.

Selene didn't follow, thinking about how to try and help her feel better.

Mahina collapsed onto her bed.

Meanwhile, Ernie was walking around the village, looking at shop windows curiously.

Mahina sighed.

Ernest looked around before noticing Mahina's parents walking around too. He took a couple steps back, away from them.

Mahina buried her face in her pillow.

Ernie turned around to walk back to the bench, praying Mahina's parents didn't recognize him from the wanted posters in the other town.
