Ernest thought for a bit. He knew he already asked the question, but he was still curious. "Why were those witch hunters after you anyways?"

Naida sighed. ‘My brother is a criminal. They thought of they could accuse me of being a witch, it would force him out of hiding.’

Ernie's eyes widened. "That's horrible." He mumbled.

Naida nodded. ‘Yeah, it’s not good,’ she agreed, tucking a curl behind her ear.

"I'm so sorry." Ernie said quietly.

Naida smiled. ‘It’s fine. I’m just glad you came to my rescue.’

"You're very welcome." Ernest gave a small smile.

Naida grinned, clasping her hands together.

Ernie raised an eyebrow. "Whaaat are you doing?" He chuckled.

Naida grinned. ‘Nothin’,’ she said. ‘Where’s Mahina?’

"At her house sleeping." Ernest shrugged. "She'll be back later tomorrow though."

‘OK,’ Naida said, taking a small step forward.
