Ernie squeezed her hand, grinning.

Mahina blushed.

Ernest smiled. They both got to her house after a bit.

Mahina looked up.

Ernie looked at her. "Is it alright if I just drop you off here?" He asked quietly.

Mahina looked up at him. She nodded. ‘Yeah, it’s fine,’ she said quietly.

Ernie gave her a hug. "I'll see you tomorrow, alright? I'll be at the same village Naida's at." He promised.

Mahina nodded, leaning against him. ‘Alright.’

Ernie smiled. He pulled away from the hug after a bit, taking a few steps backwards.

Mahina waved slightly. ‘See you.’

"See you tomorrow." Ernest waved back before turning around and walking to the village.

Mahina watched him go. She sighed before walking into the house.

Ernie walked down to the village again. He didn't have enough money for a hotel, he knew that. He'd probably just sleep on a bench or something.

Mahina stumbled inside, a sickly shade of pale.
