Ernie blushed, wrapping an arm around her as he walked. Naida watched them with a small smile.

Mahina barely noticed. She was too tired. -
"You alright?" Ernest asked her quietly, holding her close.

‘Yeeep,’ Mahina responded.

Ernie raised an eyebrow. "After we drop Naida off, I'm taking you home. You need sleep."

Mahina sighed. ‘Fine;’ she mumbled.

Ernest nodded with a small smile before looking up at Naida.

Maids was watching the two of them. ‘Do you two go on witch rescues all the time?’

Ernest shook his head, chuckling. "Nope. First time." -

‘Why’d you help me?’ -
Ernie shrugged. "It's not like we were just going to let you burn."

Nadia smiled. ‘Why don’t you hate witches like all the other humans?’

Ernest shrugged. "That's a great question." He answered with a smile, ruffling Mahina's hair slightly.

Mahina shoved his hand away. ‘Stop doing that!’
