Meanwhile, Mahina slept deeply. Selene was still concerned.

Selene couldn't sleep well that night, glancing at Mahina every so often to make sure she was alright.

Mahina woke at some point in the middle of the night.

Selene looked at her. "You alright?" She asked tiredly. "Nightmare?"

Mahina nodded. ‘Why aren’t you asleep?’

"Couldn't sleep." Selene said with a small smile.

‘Why not?’

"Because I've been worried about you. You seemed pretty rough before you went to bed."

Mahina looked away. ‘It was just a big spell.’

Selene raised an eyebrow. "Clearly. How big?"

‘Invisibility and fire stuff.’

"Why?..." Selene asked. "Did you burn the village down like you burned the curtains?"

Mahina shook her head. ‘No!’

"I was joking!" Selene laughed. "But good."

Mahina smiled slightly. ‘Good.’
