‘I’m not sure,’ Mahina said. ‘I mostly just do chores around here.’

"Oh. Any cool spells you do for chores?"

‘Not really. It’s the only thing I have to do here.’

"Oh." Ernie shrugged.

‘Sorry, that was weirdly depressing. What about you?’

Ernest chuckled. "All good. I mostly read, or swim." He motioned to his satchel full of books at the reading part of the sentence.

‘Right,’ Mahina said, glancing at his satchel. ‘What kind of books?’

"A couple history books." Ernie shrugged.

‘What about?’

"A lot of old mythology." Ernest smiled.
(Gonna go, I'll be back at some point!) -
(Alright!)
Mahina nodded, smiling. ‘Alright.’ She paused. ‘Where did you say you were from again?’ -
Ernie didn't respond for a while. "I-I sort of bounce around." He admit, telling a half-truth.

Mahina frowned. ‘What’s that supposed to mean?’ she asked.

"Uhm..." Ernie trailed off.

Mahina raised an eyebrow. She had the feeling he wasn’t being completely honest with her.
