Mahina looked back at her book. ‘What now?’

"No idea." Ernie shrugged. "Anything's better than sitting in silence though."

‘Fair. What would you like to do?’

"Just talk." He looked at her book. "What're you reading?"

‘An old spell book.’

"Oooo, cool." Ernie grinned. "Any cool spells? Or curses to get back at your enemies?"

Mahina chuckled. ‘A few, actually.’

"Ah, fun." Ernest chuckled. "And any enemies to practice the curses on?"

‘Not really. Unless you want to be the test subject.’

"Nope, I'll pass." Ernie said quickly, laughing after.

Mahina giggled. ‘I figured.’

Ernest laughed. "Yeah, unless they're all incredibly harmless curses I'll pass."

Mahina’s mouth twisted into a smirk.

"... No getting ideas, Mahina." Ernie said with a nervous laugh. "Don't you dare."
