Jayden rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine, but only since you demanded it, and you're my amazing boyfriend." He grabbed a box full of sparklers and offered it to Chester. "But can I at least make a law saying everyone should wave these around?"

Chester chuckled, taking the sparklers. 'It'd be a pointless law. Maybe everyone should wave a sparkler on your birthday or something.'

"Oooo, yes, good idea. And you have to come on my birthday. I'll make that a law too."

'That's a great law. I would happily abide by it,' Chester said with a chuckle. 'When's your birthday?'

Jayd grinned. "It's about a month away."

'When, exactly? I need to plan some elaborate surprise.'

Jayd paused for a bit, doing the mental math in his head because god knows I'm not writing down a date and technically the timeline for this haha that's your job now. "3 weeks and 2 days."

Ugh no I was trying to pass that job on to you but fine. Chester smiled. 'So December? I'll be sure to remember that,' he said with a wink.

Haha too bad. Jayden chuckled. "It's fine, you don't need an elaborate surprise. So long as you're here."

'Well, I want to plan an elaborate surprise. You're getting fireworks and presents and a ridiculous amount of flowers,' Chester chuckled, kissing his forehead.
(what year or like century should this be in?) -
(Hmmm.... Maybe early 19th century or something so the tech stuff makes sense?)
"Fine." Jayden laughed. "When's your birthday? I need to make sure to surprise you too!" -
(true true the 1800s would make sense)
'March 2nd,' Chester said, smiling. 'So you don't have to worry about it for some time.' -
(Oh yeah that would too. It's your choice >:D)
"Or I can overprepare and give you the biggest surprise ever~" Jayd grinned. -
(isn't the 1800s the 19th century-)
