"Of course." Jayden nodded. "Whatever you want."

Chester, after a few minutes, calmed down. His face was buried in Jayden's shirt, and he took a deep breath. 'I-I'm sorry.'

"Don't be. I'm not upset."

‘R-Really? Th-That must’ve been embarrassing..’

"What?" Jayden shook his head. "You think I'm embarrassed because you panicked with the reporters? Because I'm not. Not one bit."

Chester smiled weakly, burying his head in the crook of Jayden’s neck. ‘Thank you..’

"You're welcome." Jayd held him close. "You feel a bit better now?"

Chester nodded, holding himself close to him.

"Alright." Jayden paused. "You know I'd never be embarrassed with you over something like that, right?"

Chester paused, hiding his face in Jayden’s shirt. He didn’t respond, sniffling.

"Chester?" Jayd asked softly, noticing he didn't answer.

‘Yeah?’ Chester mumbled, voice muffled by Jayden’s shirt.

"You never answered the question, so now you've got me worried."

Chester whimpered. ‘I don’t want to worry you.’

Jayden sighed. "I know you don't. Just listen to me, ok? I would never be embarrassed with you over something like that. I'm proud of you."
