Jayd kissed the top of his head. "Alright, now we do something you want to do."

Chester smiled. 'I don't mind, so long as it's with you,' he said softly.

"I don't care, you choose something, ok?"

Chester chuckled. He grabbed Jayden's hand and shrugged, still holding the box of sparklers in his spare hand.

Jayden smiled, walking next to him.

Chester wrapped an arm around him, walking out of the shop.

Almost the second they walked out there were cameras all around the two of them. "s---." Jayd muttered under his breath.

Chester pulled Jayden close, slipping the box of sparklers into their bag of fireworks. He faked a smile for the cameras. 'It's okay,' he said, trying not to let the flashes and shouts affect him. 'Ugh, they're blocking our way.'

Jayden nodded, plastering a fake smile as well. "Yup. Lets just answer questions."
"Sir! What're those fireworks for?" One of them yelled. -
Chester looked at Jayden, unsure how to answer that without making both of them seem like psychos.

"I guess you'll just have to see tonight, won't you?" Jayden shrugged before trying to move past them.

Chester followed, but another reporter shouted a question at them. 'Where are your wings, your majesty?' he shouted at Chester.
Chester winced. 'They, er, they're gone. Hopefully permanently.' -
Jayd nodded.
"How?" One of the younger reporters asked. Jayden tried hard not to glare at him.
"That's a little intrusive, isn't it?" -
The other reporters started shouting questions about it, asking how the wings so suddenly disappeared and why exactly they'd been there in the first place. Chester's hand gripping Jayden's shook.

Jayden noticed his hand shaking. He didn't care if he was going to be portrayed as a brat for this.
"Hey! Can't you see you're making him uncomfortable?" He sighed. "We're not answering that question so please stop asking it."
