Jayden slept quickly as well, snuggled into his blankets. He woke up late the next morning. -
Chester was awake. He had a bad headache and was extremely tired, but couldn't get back to sleep. He'd morphed into a half-bunny in his sleep, and had the covers over his head, holding one of Jayden's sweaters close to his chest.

Jayd got dressed in one of his sweaters before walking out. He knocked on the door to Chester's room. "It's just me."

Chester hid his face under the covers. 'Come in.'

Jayden walked in, sitting down next to him. "What the heck happened yesterday?"

Chester whimpered, not responding for a moment. 'I-I don't know,' he mumbled, bunny ears poking out from under the sheets.

Jayd sighed. "I need a better answer than that, love. Please."

Chester poked his head out from under the covers. 'I don't know,' he repeated, almost in tears. 'I-I feel like such a jerk.'

Jayden looked down. He didn't know what to say to that since... Chester was a jerk the previous night. He couldn't just brush it off.

Chester sat up and wrapped his arms around Jayden's torso, burying his face in his chest. 'I'm so, so sorry,' he whispered, trying not to cry.

Jayd sighed. "Chester we... We need to figure this out." He murmured.

'I know,' Chester mumbled, voice slightly muffed by his stifled sobs and Jayden's shirt. 'I-I'd never do something to hurt you, love. You know that, right?'

Jayden hesitated. "Yeah." It wasn't like he didn't believe that, it was just... Every time he thought he knew for a fact that Chester wouldn't hurt him, he went into a whole phoenix-induced craze.

Chester looked down at his hands, sighing softly. 'I can usually control the phoenix more, b-but... I barely remember what happened last night,' he mumbled. He stood up and grabbed his pills.

Jayden sighed. "The champagne probably didn't help." He pointed out quietly. "What do you remember?"
