‘So,’ Chester mused. ‘What shall we do tonight? We can talk, sleep…’

Jayden had a question tugging in the back of his mind, but he felt like a lowlife for even thinking it, so he decided to ask later. He just shrugged. "I don't care."

Chester lay next to him, wrapping an arm around his waist. ‘Mmkay.’

Jayd smiled, blushing.

Chester kissed his shoulder. ‘We can do whatever you want, my love. Anything you want to talk about?’

He thought for a moment. "Well, there is one thing... But we don't have to talk about it until later."

‘We can talk about it now.’

Jayden gave a small nod. "Ok." He mumbled.

Chester waited patiently for him to continue.

"Can I..." He felt so bad for asking it, knowing it'd make Chester sad. "Can I sleep alone tonight? Just, for some time alone after everything that happened today?" He mumbled, not meeting Chester in the eyes.

Chester tried not to show the disappointment in his face. But he nodded, forcing a smile. ‘Of course, my darling.’

Jayd could tell he was forcing the smile. "I'm sorry." He mumbled.

Chester shook his head. He got an idea, and showed a real smile. ‘I don’t mind. I get it.’

Jayden raised an eyebrow, confused as to the sudden mood change. "R-really?"

Chester nodded. ‘Of course. Take all the time you need.’
