"Good." Jayd grinned.

Chester smiled.

Jayden kicked a couple pebbles as he walked, kicking them between his shoes as a sort of game.

Chester looked at him. ‘What are you doing?’

"Kicking rocks." Jayd chuckled.

‘Why’s that?’

"Because it's fun." Jayden shrugged.

Chester chuckled. ‘Alright.’

Jayd grinned, kicking more of the pebbles.

They eventually reached a small field overlooking the sea. A couple lanterns were hung on string and were lit in the nighttime darkness. A candle burnt on a small circular table, with two chairs opposite each other. The table was a few metres from a cliff edge, where the stone dropped to sea. There was a jar of flowers on the table.
Chester set the food on the table. 'Quite romantic, don't you think?' -
Jayd's jaw dropped. "Very, very romantic." He said, nodding quickly. "Thank you so, so much." He grinned, sitting down.

Chester smiled. 'You're very welcome,' he said, giving him his food.

Jayden took the food, still looking around. "It's so pretty." He smiled. "How'd you even know this place existed?" He wasn't expecting a real answer.

Chester blushed. ‘I am king of this city, you know,’ he said with a soft chuckle. ‘I know almost every nook and cranny.’

Jayden chuckled. "Fair enough." He ate his bread bowl.
