The journalist grinned. ‘Alright, then! What is your reaction to today’s paper from The North Town Paper?’

Jayden sighed. "Hated it. Next question?" He said quickly.

‘Can I quote you on that?’

Jayd's jaw clenched. "Sure, why not?"

‘Well, your family’s had quite the reaction,’ the journalist said, flipping through his notes. ‘Your big brother-‘

"Can you get on with it?" Jayd snapped before composing himself again. "Sorry."

The journalist blink. ‘Well, um, your big brother has said some pretty interesting stuff. He-‘ the journalist faltered. A buff dude was in the line in front of them, and turned around to face them.

Jayden's jaw clenched more before looking at the buff man and then the journalist again.

The journalist continued, ‘In The Guardian paper, he mentioned how your sexuality is a disgrace to his family, and…’ he looked through his notes, ‘if he was still king, he wouldn’t have tolerated it…’

"Good thing he's not still king then." Jayd was infuriated. "Anything else you want to say?"

‘Yes, where’s King Jackson?’ he asked, looking around. ‘I wanted to ask him about Beatrice.’
The buff man growled. -
"He's not here." Jayden half lied.

‘Why not?’
‘Listen, punk,’ the buff man growled, looking at the journalist. ‘We don’t take insults to our king, you hear? Now get out of here before I pommel your face in!’ -
The journalist paled. "I mean-it was- it was just-" He stammered, not able to think up an excuse.

The buff guy raised his fist for emphasis. The journalist ran out of the theatre. The man chuckled.
