"It's a... Never mind. Less effective way of traveling."

Jayd nodded, not quite sure how to explain a plane to someone who'd never seen one and could teleport.

'Chester, what's a plane?' Maeve asked.
'It doesn't matter,' Chester said, unsure how to explain it himself. -
"Big metal thing that flies. Carries lots of people."

'How does it fly?!'

"Engines?" Jayd answered. "Don't ask me how the engine works, I don't have a good answer."

Chester chuckled. Maeve nodded, still very confused about what an engine was.

"I'm not explaining this well, am I?" Jayden asked, seeing Maeve's confused look on her face.

'No.'

"It's a big metal bird that flies in the sky, only the wings don't fly."

'What?'
