Maeve and Lavender were still talking, and Maeve shouted, ‘Pay your taxes!’ -
Jayden looked up. "What?"

‘She refuses to pay her taxes!’
‘It’s my kingdom too!’ -
"You both have to pay taxes." Jayden decided.

‘No!’ Maeve whined.

"Yup." Jayden walked over to them both. "Pay up. I'm the tax collector."

‘You don’t even have citizenship in our country!’

"Make the tax collector or I'll start a war."

‘Darling, you can’t start a war with my sister’s kingdom.’
‘I’ll throw you in the dungeons!’ -
Jayden glared at Chester. "You're supposed to be on my side!"

Chester held his hands up in surrender. ‘She’s my sister, so-‘

"I'm your boyfriend!"

‘I’m trying to keep the peace!’
‘YOU have to pay taxes!’ Maeve declared to Jayden. -
"Why me?!"
