Maeve kept looking down at the floor. Jayden frowned slightly.

‘Are you okay, Maeve?’ Chester asked quietly.

Maeve shook her head, still not looking up at him.

‘Can you tell me what you’re upset about, please?’

"You know." Maeve mumbled.

‘Maeve, you know I would never willingly do.. that.’

Maeve kept staring down, hands clenching into fists,

Chester sighed. ‘Maeve. Talk to me, please.’

"Do you realize how long I've been wanting to have a party?"

‘Of course. Y-You’ve been begging for years.’
