Chester fidgeted with his watch under the table, tugging at the chain. Henry glared. ‘Take it back.’
‘No, you deserved it.’
‘Chester, you can’t just call him… that,’ Marie said.
‘I’ll call him what I want. He can’t disrespected my boyfriend and my mother.’ -
(I can keep talking for another 10 minutes lol)
"What did you say?" Jayden asked quietly. -
(Sorry I was getting ready for school :’))
‘It doesn’t matter,’ Chester muttered.
‘He called me a self-absorbed c*nt!’ Henry argued.
‘You are.’ -
Jayden elbowed Chester. "Not at the dinner table." He said, sounding like he was trying not to laugh.

Maeve snickered. Chester gave a small smile. 'Sorry,' he said, not sounding very sorry.

"There, that's better." Jayden leaned into him. "Do you want to go?"

Chester smiled weakly. 'Yes, please.'

Jayden stood up, smiling.

Chester took up as well. Henry threw half a boiled potato at him. Chester rolled his eyes and brushed it off his shirt.

Jayden took his hand, taking him out of the room.

Chester followed him. Maeve trailed behind. 'Hey Chester?'
'Yeah?'
'What did Henry say about Mother?' -
Jayden slowed his walking, turning to look at Maeve and then at Chester.

Chester sighed, tucking his watch in his pocket. 'He said she's a dirty b---- who's in Hell.'

Maeve's facial expression hardened. "Okay."
