Jayden knew Maeve was still upset. Duh, why wouldn't she be? He looked up at Chester. "Is it okay if I take Maeve somewhere in the village to eat?" He asked quietly, not wanting to leave him there, but not wanting Maeve to stay next to Henry either. "You could come too, of course." -
(omfg he would- he'd also be like "so which one of you is the girl in the relationship")
'Go ahead,' Chester said softly, rubbing the back of his hand. He didn't want Jayden to go, but he didn't want his grandparents to have another reason to berate him. 'I'll stay.' -
(THATS WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKINGGGGG)
Jayden kissed the top of his head. "Thank you. Tell me if anyone tries to start anything. I love you." He turned to Maeve. "C'mon, lets go for a walk." He offered. -
'Love you too,' Chester said quietly. Maeve got up and walked to Jayden's side.

Jayden smiled at Maeve before leaving the room. "What restaurants do you like here?"

Maeve stuck her hands in her dress pockets. 'I dunno,' she mumbled.
Chester sighed, glancing at Henry, who smirked. 'Aw, your little boyfriend left you all alone~'
'Shut up.' -
Jayden frowned. "Do you want to talk about it, or forget it ever happened and let it all bottle up until you die?"

'The second one,' Maeve said quietly.

Jayd nodded. "C'mon then, lets get some food." He opened the door to the kingdom for her.

Maeve followed, looking down.

"We should fight Henry tonight." Jayden joked, giving a small smile.

Maeve chuckled. ‘Sounds good. I hope he’s not being too horrible to Chester.’

Jayden nodded, smile fading. "Yeah."

Maeve sighed.

"We'll get him some food." Jayden offered, trying to change the mood. "Lots of it. Why be sad when you could be eating food?"
