'I dunno. I think he just wishes he was king or something,' Chester shrugged. He glanced over as a second carriage pulled up to the castle

Jayden chuckled. "Alright then." He pulled away from Chester slightly when the second carriage arrived.

The carriage stopped and two elderly people climbed out, Chester's grandparents. 'Oh, joy,' Chester muttered.
His grandmother glared at Chester. 'Still with that human, I see? At least those stupid bunny ears are gone.'
Chester sighed. 'Nice to see you too, Grandma.' -
Jayden plastered a fake smile. "Good afternoon." He said pleasantly, trying to ignore everything that just happened.

Chester's grandma shot a glare at Jayden and walked up the steps with her cane. Her husband trailed behind. The old woman grabbed Chester's hair and tugged on it, as if bunny ears would shoot out.

(Jayden got triggered-)
"Knock it off." Jayden said immediately, dropping the act. He stepped in front of her and Chester. -
(oop-)
Chester sighed. 'Love, its fine-' -

No it's not. Jayden wanted her as far away from his boyfriend as possible. -
His grandma rolled her eyes. ‘Out of the way, Celeste.’

Jayden narrowed his eyes, hating when people called him by his last name. He moved away slowly.

The grandma whose name I’ve forgotten so we’re gonna call her Margaret shoved past him and grabbed Chester’s hair. ‘You’re lucky there haven’t been anymore controversies. Darling Henry should’ve become king-‘
‘Well, unfortunately, that’s not how to works,’ Chester snapped, pulling away. -
Jayden glared, ready to step back in if she did anything else.

Margaret rolled her eyes. ‘You’re always so snarky. Just show me to my room.’
Chester glared. He sighed and grabbed Jayden’s hand, walking back into the castle. The old man and woman trailed behind. -
Jayden followed, glaring at his grandparents.

Margaret gave him a scowl. Chester squeezed Jayden’s hand. ‘Just ignore them,’ he said softly. They got to the east wing and Chester opened a door. ‘Here you go.’
